Training contract

Learning at speed

As a medium-sized, full-service firm, we’ll be able to give you early responsibility and a real breadth of training so you'll learn incredibly fast. But because we take a relatively small number of trainees, you will be an integral part of the team from the start, receiving the support and attention to progress.

Often, it won't feel like you're training at all. A huge amount of what you learn will be picked up by working on a wide variety of live projects alongside our partners and senior lawyers, turning the theory of the past few years into the practice of being a solicitor.

Choice of routes

It’s not a prerequisite to have studied law; far from it. In fact, 50% of our trainees come from a non-law background and our Patents practice group particularly looks for science and engineering graduates. The following diagram outlines the two possible routes to becoming a trainee solicitor.
