Our community work

As a firm, we're committed to making a positive difference to the communities where we live and work and take our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives very seriously. We do this by making donations and giving our time through volunteering. Everyone, from trainees to partners, gets the chance to be involved and we have a policy whereby everyone has the chance to take one paid day off a year to volunteer for one of our charities.

We support a number of charities, including Kids Company, St Mungo's and Future First. The firm also has a long history of being involved in the Arts, the highlight of which is sponsorsing the National Portrait Gallery's Photographic Portrait Prize. We are also a supporter of the work of the Young Vic. We combine our commitment to the Arts with our commitment to supporting opportunity in our community by sponsoring outreach programmes provided by the NPG and the Young Vic for St Mungo's.

We have developed a range of legal pro bono projects, including an advice clinic for a local community assistance initiative. Trainees and associates provide legal advice at the weekly clinic for those who would not otherwise be able to access it or afford it. Our community partnerships also extend to local schools where volunteers from across the firm participate in weekly reading workshops.

We continue to donate money to charities chosen by members of the firm. Everyone in the firm can apply for sponsorship from the firm for an event they are taking part in for the charities they have a personal connection to.

These are just some of the issues we've been supporting. We're always keen to hear suggestions for new causes that deserve our support.
